The effect of distributor design on gas dispersion in a bubbling fluidized bed

摘要: In this study, the behavior of gas dispersion in a bubbling fluidized bed was investigated, Carbon dioxide used as tracer gas. Most jets from tuyeres are towards same direction, parallel with longitudinal axis. The movement particles lateral direction enhanced by momentum horizontal within bed. experimental results show that effect superficial velocity on mixing depends distributor type. Comparing perforated distributor, better performance observed while equipped nozzle distributor.
