摘要: Watermarking techniques are used in biometric systems for the purpose of protecting and authenticating data. This paper presents an efficient scheme to protect authenticate fingerprint images by watermarking with their corresponding facial wavelet domain using Particle Swarm Optimization PSO. The key idea is use PSO find best discrete transform DWT coefficients where image data can be embedded. objective function based on quality respect Structural Similarity index SSIM Orientation Certainty Level OCL. As a result, embedding selected generated proposed method not only results minimum distortion host but also retains feature set original recognition. robustness watermark extracted technique has been tested against various processing attacks. concept another finds application multimodal authentication more secure system personal recognition at receiver's end.
