摘要: We investigated the seasonal variation of neustonic zooplankton community in surface layer (above 30 cm depth) 16 stations southern waters Korea from April 2002 to 2003. In community, copepods accounted for 59% total organisms, as most predominant group, while other dominant groups were invertebrate larvae, cladocerans, tunicates and fish eggs. Pontellid copepods, a major group zooplankton, showed marked displayed significant positive correlation with temperature (P < 0.05). Fish eggs appeared spring early summer inshore oceanic (Eucalanus spp. Euchaeta spp.) offshore during high periods. This suggests that distribution pattern is seasonally affected by hydrological conditions in- waters. The abundance was higher (< 15 cm) than subsurface (15–30 cm), also at night daytime. Of copepod families, density acartiid pontellid layer. corycaeid significantly daytime nighttime. indicates temperate regions may provide favorable habitat despite dynamic environmental fluctuations.
