Overview of construction and demolition waste legislation in EU and Greece & state of the art on recycling CDEW in concrete

摘要: The waste stream of construction, demolition and excavation (CDEW) includes materials generated from construction activities for the transportation, building, land clearing industries, such as building packaging rubble resulting remodeling, repair, homes, commercial buildings other structures pavements, well disaster debris. CDEW is one biggest streams in EU, with over 750 million tonnes per annum. In Greece alone, more than 2 are produced each year private project sector. If public infrastructure works (road, bridges, etc) also added, amount possibly exceeds 3.9 tonnes. present study, (a) legislative framework management presented (b) implementation advances made past 10 years considered EU Greece. Moreover, (c) focus given on current progress reusing concrete. It can be concluded that recycled aggregates concrete safely used structural applications, while dust may offer further potentials. Lastly, extended usage nanomodified expected future.
