摘要: NiO crystals free from twin structure were prepared by annealing at 1650°C in argon atmosphere and either axially cooling through the Neel temperature with a gradient set along [111] or applying stress room temperature. Torque measurements made various temperatures magnetic field up to 17 kOe. The results show that cooled crystal irreversible motion of S -walls, separating antiferromagnetic domains different spin axes, takes place above 2 kOe for component (111) plane, 2.4 whole forms nearly single domain. In stressed these values are higher. both torque [111]-rotation has dominant sixfold high fields, which same magnitude but is interpreted as being due imperfections. MnO was also studied similar obtained.
