摘要: Au-coated Fe nanoparticles have been prepared by using a reverse micelle method through reduction of an aqueous solution. Characterizations carried out over time to probe the oxidation Fe. Immediately after synthesis, samples exhibit metallic conduction and negative magnetoresistance, consistent with presence α-Fe. The temperature dependence magnetization displays maximum at blocking around 150 K. After period 1 month, insulating behavior, indicating core. Mossbauer spectroscopy indicates α-Fe component broad distribution local environments.
