摘要: In this work a study was carried out to analyze the effect of changes in parameters characterizing notch, such that radius and angle, on evolution plastic zone near notch root. A steel CT specimen under uni-axial loading is taken as finite element model. Two theoretical approaches are applied calculate extent for different values angle using volumetric Irwin approaches. The elastoplastic analysis used determine effective distance relative stress gradient by applying method (FEM). size deduced from elastic calculation reaches its maximum when close zero equal zero. variation modifies extended zone.
