摘要: The Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, also known as the canonical Wnt plays a role in cell proliferation and differentiation several tissues/organs. It has been recently described humans relationship between type 2 diabetes (T2DM) mutation gene encoding transcription factor TCF7L2 associated to pathway. In present study, we demonstrated that hyperplastic pancreatic islets from prediabetic mice fed high-fat diet (HFD) for 60 d displayed nuclear translocation of active β-catenin with significant increases protein content expression well cyclins D1, D2 c-Myc (target genes pathway) but not Tcf7l2 (the factor). Meanwhile, these alterations were observed 30 d HFD-fed mice, do display beta hyperplasia. These data suggest pathway is activated during prediabetes may play induction compensatory hyperplasia at early phase T2DM.
