摘要: Abstract In the redundant signals task, participants respond, in same way, to stimuli of several sources, which are presented either alone or combination (redundant signals). The responses typically much faster than single signals. Several models explain this effect, including race and coactivation information processing. Race assume separate channels for two components a signal, with response time determined by channels. Because slower processing times one channel canceled out other channel, are, on average, contrast, relate redundancy gain some kind integrated information. can be distinguished using model inequality (Miller, 1982) distribution functions.
