摘要: This paper deals with the relation between legally protected biodiversity and riverine ecotopes assessment of values Middle Vistula river valley (Poland). Furthermore, it describes effects landscape change on spatial distribution ecotope patches in Kazimierski Landscape Park. Biodiversity were calculated using BIO-SAFE, a model meant to quantify value based species. Dissimilarity indices depict high uniqueness types regarding their species assemblages (e.g., dunes, banks bars). The actual Park are comparison floodplains lowland rivers Western Europe. GIS analyses remotely sensed maps show remarkable differences number, acreage patchiness for years 1953 2003. total number increased by almost 44%. Side channels floodplain lakes became fragmented. average surface area bush, forest arable land increased, but decreased bare soil, pioneer vegetation grassland. These changes indicate natural succession, intensification agriculture progressive impacts regulation. still represents higher plants, birds, herpetofauna fish.
