摘要: This paper illustrates the effect of stiction in actuators on closed loop performance and importance techniques, to be incorporated monitoring system, for automatic detection onset this phenomenon. Three different techniques are compared basis simulation by means models it is shown how variables affected parameters process characteristics. A major finding that every technique has an uncertainty region where no decision can taken absence further information about process. The application industrial data, recorded loops during routine plant operation, allows confirm result assess relative efficiency techniques. simple test performed directly also proposed solve remaining uncertain cases.
