摘要: Metal capped carbon nanotubes, prepared by catalytic decomposition of benzene, have been applied as a magnetic force microscope tip. The particles at the end nanotubes were about 35 nm in diameter, which found to be Ni3C from electron diffraction pattern. other was attached on tip conventional Si probes. magnetization carried out parallel nanotube axis applying pulsed field 12.5 T. We demonstrate performance these probes imaging stored signal recording media with microscopy.
