摘要: A multitemporal post-classification study with data from the Landsat Multispectral Scanner (MSS) and Thematic Mapper (TM) was made to detect changes in landscape of Majahual coastal system, along Mexican Pacific. Six land-use classes were used as direct indicators condition. Mangrove, lagoon, saltmarsh, dry forest, secondary succession, agriculture categories selected evaluate by comparing four thematic maps (from 1973 19971. The accuracy classification (only 1997 scene) calculated an error matrix, using overall assessment (70%) Kappa coefficient (0.61). Both values indicate that agreement moderate, but better than one obtained chance. analytical comparison sets (1973 vs. 1986, 1986 1990, 1990 1997) done a change detection matrix coefficient. Agreement between varied 61% 68%, all moderate enough determine general trends system. These are mainly typified loss natural cover (especially forest) fragmentation landscape, agricultural activities their subsequent effects (secondary modification drainage patterns) main transforming agents.
