摘要: Abstract Concentrations of cadmium and lead were measured in liver kidneys Mallard (n = 60) Coot (n = 50). Free living birds collected by hunters years 2006–2008 the area fishponds near Zator southern Poland. Age group was determined according to appearance plumage (Mallards) iris color (Coot). metals with ET-AA spectrometer. Among all specimens negligible (n = 5) high concentrations (Mallards n = 18 Coots n = 17) chosen for further analysis. Histopathological alterations observed, ranging from circulatory disturbances, retrogressive changes, inflammations leukocytic infiltration kidney. They dominated among highest metals. The control characterized a very small number mentioned lesions. Probably higher tissues are co-factors development
