摘要: Objectives: Recent studies based on self-assessed data exposure and outcome suggest a negative association between poor health before neck injury recovery. Our aim was to study actual healthcare consultation work disability after (whiplash). Design: Cohort with matched references studied prospectively retrospectively via regional national held registers. Setting: Population-based in Region Skane, Sweden (population=1.21 million) including all levels of healthcare. Participants: 1443 participants aged ≥18 (54% women) acute injury, Whiplash, (International Classification Diseases-10-SE code S13.4*) 2007 or 2008 no such diagnosis since 1998. Each patient assigned four randomly selected population for age, sex area residence (97% the patients 94% were followed during whole period). Primary secondary measures: We changes consultations 3 years as well sick leave episodes. Analyses also stratified by preinjury frequency consultation. Results: Before mean number total over 36 months among injured (n=1443) (n=5772) 9.3 vs 7.2 (p<0.0001) postneck 12.7 7.8 (p<0.0001). In group high-frequent consulters, there more women compared frequent low-frequent consulters (70.6% 32.8%; p<0.0001). Among lowfrequent (n=967, 67% cohort), 16% became attributable injury. The days correlated postinjury (r=0.47 (99% CI 0.38 0.49), r=0.32 0.25 0.37)). Conclusions: People constitute heterogeneous group. level is associated
