摘要: Lipolysis (release of glycerol and free fatty acids) subcutaneous human adipose tissuein vitro has been investigated in relation to relative body weight fat cell size. Studying 86 persons, there was a highly significant logarithmic between weight, size lipid content tissue obtained from the abdominal region. Even extreme obesity mean diameter 135 μ generally not exceeded. In these cases overweight is due hypertrophy as well hyperplasia tissue. — The basal FFA release, calculated on basis content, did significantly differ normal persons. lipolysis individual increased, however, with increasing diameter. quotient resterification (FFA release: release) lower obesity.
