摘要: Neutral tetradentate N2O2 type complexes of Cu(II), Ni(II), Mn(II), Zn(II) and VO(II) have been synthesised using a Schiff base formed by the condensation o-phenylenediamine with acetoacetanilide in alcohol medium. All were characterised on basis their microanalytical data, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, IR, UV-Vis1H NMR ESR spectra. IR UV-Vis spectral data suggest that all are square-planar except Mn(II) chelates, which octahedral square pyramidal geometry respectively. The monomeric neutral nature was confirmed susceptibility low conductance values. spectra copper vanadyl DMSO solution at 300 K 77 recorded salient features reported.
