Fractional-step Tow-Thomas biquad filters

摘要: In this paper we propose the use of fractional capacitors in Tow-Thomas biquad to realize both lowpass and asymmetric bandpass filters order 0 <α 1 + α2 ≤ 2, where α1 are orders 1,2 1. We show how these can be designed using an integer-order transfer function approximation capacitors. MATLAB PSPICE simulations first fractional-step low 1.1, 1.5, 1.9 given as examples. Experimental results pass 1.5 implemented with silicon-fabricated verify operation biquad.
