摘要: Twelve cows of 14 given a basic diet supplemented with Na2GO3 and NaHCO3 during four weeks pre partum one week past were attacked by milk fever (hypocalcemic paresis puerperalis), while 12 13 receiving the same sulfates chlorides remained healthy. A mixture CaCl2, Al2(SO4)3 MgSO4 was found to be convenient prophyllactic supplement. It possible induce prevent at successive parturitions in cow altering dietary conditions. The data give further support hypothesis that alkali alkalinity is major factor induction or prevention fever.
