摘要: Single dose treatment regimens (SDT) are effective, inexpensive alternatives to longer courses of therapy for adult females with acute cystitis or asymptomatic bacteriuria. A number SDT consistently cure 85 100% women and 50 80% However, is inherently less effective than because many upper tract infections not cured. Initial studies suggested that most patients significant renal invasive disease underlying urological abnormalities fail therapy. As a result, has been proposed as an efficient strategy diagnose accompanying pathology merit additional investigation treatment. Few have refuted supported this hypothesis. Single-dose show association between the site infection determined by antibody-coated bacteria (ACB) test outcome. Patients ACB-negative tests rate over 90% in almost all which organism susceptible agent chosen. positive ACB tend failure rates 30 50%. imaging carried out parallel these validity using single-dose screen still established.
