摘要: Abstract Precipitation of asphaltene may occur during injecting CO 2 into oil reservoirs for enhanced recovery (EOR). A potential means combating such occurrence is to simultaneously inject metal oxide nanoparticles along with the stream. The present experimental study investigates impact Fe 3 O 4 on precipitation using interfacial tension (IFT) and Bond number measurements. variation latter versus pressure was found better characterize onset intensity than that IFT. This because both changes in IFT shape pendant drop due gravity force are more rigorously captured by number. Two different types asphaltenes were synthesized solution n-heptane toluene. Various mass fractions also used at temperatures 50 70 °C. results show higher fraction is, lower would be attempted fractions. characteristics terms structure have profound performance nanoparticles.
