摘要: This paper describes the planar quasi-elliptic filters with EM coupled open-loops having an inline resonator alignment. For two open-loops, sides maximum magnetic field are combined their open gaps electric field, creating mixed and coupling. By adjusting distance between this loops gap position of each loop, a desired coupling coefficient controllable transmission zero can be simultaneously obtained. The shapes open-loop either rectangle or triangle, but latter is preferred to former since triangular pairs tighter more controllable. A backed aperture etched on ground plane underneath lines adjacent further enhance both coupling, help realize wider bandwidth closer-to-passband zero. High order constructed by cascading several create multiple zeros.
