摘要: Fluorescent PET (photoinduced electron transfer) sensors are considered to be those molecular systems where the binding of ions and other species leads perturbation competition between de-excitation pathways fluorescence transfer. The early developments in this field traced design logic these is detailed. A variety examples drawn from different areas chemistry classified according ‘fluorophore-spacer-receptor’ format their photophysical behaviour rationalized terms fluorescent sensor principles. Cases pointed out such experimental data unavailable but desirable. During discussions, relevance twisted fluorophore-receptor contrast with integrated noted. utility ‘on-off’ phenomenon for area photoionic devices out.
