摘要: Neuroinflammation is common to various diseases of the central nervous system (CNS), but its imprecise definition has led many misconceptions in research and clinical approaches. It now recognized that neuroinflammation chronic neurodegenerative conditions, including Alzheimer's disease (AD) age-related dementia, distinct from inflammation accompanies relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS), experimental animal model, autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Here, we discuss discrete features different CNS pathologies, given current understanding CNS–immune crosstalk; roles immune cells are involved, their phenotypes, location route entry CNS. Understanding term encompass a broad range disease-specific conditions essential for finding effective therapeutic approaches these pathologies.
