摘要: The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) provides the requirements needed graduating veterinary professionals to be competent in delivery of animal health services. However, significant differences curricula across countries-attributable differing priorities and predominant types practice-provide a challenge schools address these competencies adequately. As part OIE's education establishment Twinning Project activities, College Veterinary Medicine Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) Sokoine University Agriculture (SUA) Tanzania undertook curriculum mapping gap analysis assess extent which addresses 'Day 1 Competencies' veterinarians. Results indicated that all Day Competencies (general, specific, advanced) are addressed some degree by courses present curriculum. gaps depth breadth instruction were found number three categories. These findings indicate need addressing next review. This will allow development stronger efficiently meet national international requirements.
