摘要: Abstract In recent decades, many new flavivirus-like viruses have been discovered predominantly in different invertebrates and, as was recently shown, some of them may cause disease humans. The Jingmen tick virus (JMTV) group holds a special place among because, contrast to the “classic” flaviviruses and other viruses, they segmented ssRNA(+) genome. Two segments JMTV genome homology with regions flavivirus encoding polymerase helicase-protease proteins. JMTVs several open reading frames (ORF) glycoprotein capsid protein these ORF are specific only them. greatly differ virion size. We isolated three strains Alongshan (ALSV), which is representative group, from adult Ixodes persulcatus ticks collected two geographically-separated Russian into cell line IRE/CTVM19. One persisted IRE/CTVM19 cells without cytopathic effect for years. Most virions purified were spherical diameter approximately 40.5 nm. addition, we found smaller particles 13.1 nm either electron-translucent or electron-dense cores. obtained full sequences all four ALSV strains, partial one segment third strain. Phylogenetic analysis on 2 clustered our novel strains. evidence existence upstream glycoprotein-coding viruses.
