摘要: Over 360 exotic forest insects and about 20 diseases have become established in the U.S. Many of these organisms serious pests, causing great economic impacts irreversible ecological harm. Despite efforts to exclude species, disease continue be introduced at a rather rapid rate. In last few years, one organism six been or discovered Some potential pests. Preventing introductions is global problem that requires international cooperation. Rigorous quarantine protocols should developed for all types products, monitoring progams are needed detect new introductions. Lists species significance assist assessing risks future developing ways prevent eradicate
