摘要: A method for valuing extra-market benefits is proposed and tested. The rests on the empirical derivation of utility functions indifference maps. Demand schedules were obtained from maps to provide specific benefit values. compared conventional travel-cost recreational benefits. It argued that approach cenceptually superior. Also, data comprised both values direct survey responses as surrogates utility. These proved better predictors consumption than usual variables.
