摘要: The effect of evaporator tilt on the operating temperature a loop heat pipe (LHP) without secondary wick under terrestrial surroundings was investigated both experimentally and theoretically in this work. experiments were conducted with placed at three different tilts: (a) horizontal compensation chamber (CC), (b) vertically below CC, (c) little higher than CC angle 1.80°. Experimental results show that has significant LHP: much those two other tilts. Theoretical analysis based two-zoned wick, i.e. subcooled zone saturated zone, is to explain experimental results, indicating cooling returning liquid vapor region or core crucial determining LHPs, which should be well considered LHP design applications.
