摘要: Abstract Wave energy is expected to play an important role in the forthcoming years for de-carbonisation of Scottish and British electricity production. This study underlines importance resource assessment attempts improve quantifiable wave power resource, with use a validated numerical model. While levels flux are high area that may not always constitute best option applications. In this study, long-term hindcast coastlines run from 2004 2014 (11 years) improving existing maps estimations. Spatial physical considerations third generation spectral model allow examination at locations immediate interest ocean community. Utilising models finer resolution allows detailed coupling potential converters (WECs) site characterization. Such detail results improved financial analysis take into account severity local its potential.
