摘要: This paper describes the characterization of an imageplate readout system used to calculate small-anglescattering intensities as cross sections per unit volume. The raw data are latent phosphorescent excitations stored on image plate. Self-decay, self exposure, resolution, smearing, dynamic range and sensitivity measured. Preliminary experiments show that inexpensive neutron-imaging can be obtained when plates placed behind a suitable neutron-to-X-ray converter.
