摘要: In 3 years seventeen patients presented to one unit with renal failure associated the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). Seven acute failure, in four due tubular necrosis and three interstitial nephritis; all recovered when NSAID treatment was stopped. Four symptomless impairment discovered during routine follow-up a rheumatology clinic; again improved on withdrawal NSAID. The remaining six chronic disorder not previously treatment. pattern disease may be more extensive than has been recognised. A history should sought presenting unexplained failure.
