Numerical simulations of progressive crushing of pultruded composite tubes under axial blast load

摘要: A numerical investigation was carried out to evaluate the response of pultruded composite tubes, made polyvinylester matrix reinforced uni-directionally with glass fibers, axial blast loading. full scaled model specimen developed simulate experiments using LS_DYNA3D. The finite element solutions were validated experimental data that published by [1]. Good correlation, based on transmitted impulse explosive and crushed distance tube, obtained between simulations experiments.
