Future Pathways for Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) : How to direct future efforts relating to ACE to effectively contribute to the ultimate objective of the UNFCCC (Policy Brief)

摘要: KEY MESSAGES • ACE objectives are implicitly grounded in either a democratization or neoliberal narrative of climate action, generating profound ambiguity. The ambiguity surrounding diminishes ACE’s effectiveness by making it difficult to formulate and agree on goals that measurable, specific, attainable. Clarification narratives when engaging implementation, dialogues negotiations is essential set clear targets collective goals. Explicit objectives, concrete crosscutting approach can facilitate action more balanced implementation the six pillars ACE. Steering towards specific roles (i.e. as monitor, accelerator networker) provide first step clarifying
