摘要: Soft tissue sarcomas occur most commonly in the lower and upper extremities. The standard treatment is limb salvage surgery combined with radiotherapy. Postoperative radiotherapy associated wound complications. This systematic review aims to summarise available evidence literature of last 10 years regarding postoperative complications patients who had surgical excision followed by direct closure vs flap coverage together define optimal timeframe for adjuvant after soft resection reconstruction. A search was performed using PubMed. following keywords were searched: salvage, limb-sparing, flaps, radiation therapy, radiation, irradiation, radiotherapy, effects, healing, infection, dehiscence, sarcoma neoplasms. In total, 1045 papers retrieved. Thirty-seven articles finally selected screening abstracts applying dates language filters inclusion exclusion criteria. Plastic provides a vast number reconstructive procedures that are directly linked decreasing complications, especially expectant better administered first 3-6 weeks reconstruction allow timely healing avoid local recurrence.
