摘要: If the rhetoric pervading much of recent academic and policy discourse is to be taken at face value, engaging public in governance science has become a kind gold standard. However, very little known about citizens' perspectives on engagement science, let alone social processes meaning participation acquires within actual exercises. This article analyses bottom-up meanings concept exercise Austria, traces variety connotations implications that this term was given by participating citizens scientists.
