摘要: Failure in aluminum alloys subjected to liquid metal embrittlement (LME) typically occurs by either intergranular (IG) fracture or transgranular (TG) cleavage. In this study, the crystallography of metal-induced TG cleavage six having a variety microstructures has been determinedvia Laue X-ray back reflection. The was independent alloy microstructure, and plane (100) all cases. It further determined that not influenced texture. Examination surfaces indicated there unique direction crack propagation. addition, existence on 2024 inferred comparison secondary intersection geometry with intersections test alloys.
