摘要: Abstract In the maritime environment slamming is a phenomenon known as short duration impact of water on floating or sailing structure. Slamming loads are local and could induce very high stresses. This paper reports series test results investigate pressures acting square based pyramid. this study tests have been conducted at constant velocity with hydraulic speed shock machine. specific experimental equipment avoids deceleration structure observed usually during entry drop tests. Three velocities rigid pyramid used (10, 13 15 m s−1). Time-histories pressures, accelerations were successfully measured. The relationship between pressure magnitude obtained spatial distribution sides characterized. was found to negligible influence in predicting maximum coefficient.
