摘要: Pre-event and event landslide deformations have been detected measured for the that occurred on December 3rd, 2013 south-western slope of Montescaglioso village (Basilicata Region, Southern Italy). The event, triggered by 56 h continuous rainfalls, produced a ground displacement several meters created significant damages to buildings local infrastructures. Ground displacements mapped through an integrated analysis based series high resolution SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images acquired Italian constellation satellites COSMO-SkyMed. purpose this mapping activity was twofold: (i) detect record any pre-event deformation in around Montescaglioso, use multi-image interferometry, suitable slow phenomena (ii) map measure surface changes 3rd landslide, using amplitude-based method, much faster displacements. Interferometry, applied taken before revealed general movement, order few mm/year, village, with highest velocities sector where first movement took place. Amplitude allowed retrieval three components field, values exceeding 10 m large sectors area peaks 20 its central deposit areas. synergistic exploitation phase amplitude turned out be powerful tool investigation, allowing detection slow, precursory patterns as well full 3D fields caused large, rapid-moving landslides.
