摘要: Data gloves are devices equipped with sensors that capture the movements of hand user in order to select or manipulate objects a virtual world. were introduced three decades ago and since then have been used many 3D interaction techniques. However, good data too expensive only few them can perceive full set movements. In this paper we describe design an image-based glove (IBDG) prototype suitable for finger sensible applications, like manipulation approaches. The proposed device uses camera track visual markers at tips, software module compute position each tip its joints real-time. To evaluate our concept, built tested it 15 volunteers. We also discuss how improve engineering prototype, turn into low cost device, as well other relevant issues about original concept.
