摘要: Objective. The purpose of this study was to assess the reproducibility 3-dimensional (3D) sonography for classifying adnexal masses. Methods. Eighty-two consecutive women with diagnosis an mass on 2-dimensional transvaginal were reevaluated by 3D sonography, and volume data from each stored. Two different examiners (6 years 1 year experience in respectively) reviewed sonograms month after last patient recruited then week later again. Masses had be classified as benign or malignant. Criteria suggestive malignancy presence a thick wall, gross papillary projections, solid areas, echogenicity. A definitive histologic obtained every case. Intraobserver interobserver agreement estimated calculating Cohen κ index. Results. Twenty-seven (33%) tumors malignant, 55 (67%) benign. both good (κ = 0.78 0.72, respectively). Interobserver also 0.70). Conclusions. Three-dimensional is reproducible technique morphologic assessment Key words: ovarian tumor; reproducibility; sonography; sonography.
