State-of-the-Art: A Systematic Literature Review on Agile Information Systems Development

摘要: Principles of agile information systems development (ISD) have attracted the interest practice as well research. The goal this literature review is to validate, update and extend previous reviews in terms general state research on ISD. Besides including categories such employed methods data collection techniques, importance theory highlighted by evaluating theoretical foundations contributions former studies. Since ISD rooted IS software engineering discipline, important outlets both disciplines are included search process, resulting 482 investigated papers. findings show that quantitative studies underpinnings lacking. Extreme Programming still most researched method, more efforts Scrum needed. In consequence, multiple gaps need further attention identified.
