摘要: Advances in optics technology, synthetic photochemistry, and the science of photobiology make it possible to think beyond phototherapy photochemotherapy which is dependent on direct photochemical alteration metabolites or phototoxic insult cells. This report discusses another gender photomedicine therapy includes vivo photoactivation medicines, photon-dependent drug delivery, manipulation host exposure source maximize therapeutic index. These manipulations are made because skin highly overperfused non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation that enters blood has adequate photon energy cause electronic excitation. Radiation 320-800 nm not very directly phototoxic, absorbed by a variety relatively nontoxic photolabile molecules an internal dosimetric depth profile. can therefore be used activate, deactivate, bind, release biotransform medications other organs. The photochemist, chemist photobiologist collaborate significantly increase possibilities.
