摘要: Objective Extreme preterm infants are a growing population in neonatal intensive care units who carry high mortality and morbidity. Multiple factors play role birth, resulting major impact on organogenesis leading to complications including bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). The goal of this study was identify biomarker signatures associated with prematurity BPD. Study design We analyzed miRNA mRNA profiles tracheal aspirates (TAs) from 55 receiving invasive mechanical ventilation. Twenty-eight were extremely diagnosed BPD, 27 term babies ventilation for elective procedures. Result found 22 miRNAs 33 genes differentially expressed (FDR Conclusions Specific mRNA-miRNA TAs may serve as biomarkers BPD pathogenesis, consequence extreme prematurity.
