Energetics of local clusters in Cu64.5Zr35.5 metallic liquid and glass

摘要: Correlation between the cluster energy and its population dynamics can provide a better understanding of complicated landscape disordered metallic systems. We propose method to analyze distribution for different kinds short-range order (local clusters) in liquid glass By applying this analysis an interesting important forming system— Cu 64.5 Zr 35.5 we observe direct correlation realistic glass-forming system. This study suggests that dynamic arrest originates from environment-dependent energetics local clusters.
