摘要: Blastomeres in C. elegans embryos execute lineage programs wherein the fate of a cell is correlated reproducibly with division sequence by which that born. We provide evidence pop-1 gene functions to link anterior-posterior divisions decisions. Each anterior resulting from an appears have higher level nuclear POP-1 protein than does its posterior sister. Genes Wnt pathway are required for this inequality levels. show loss pop-1(+) activity leads several types cells adopting fates their sisters. These results suggest mechanism invariance blastomere lineages.
