摘要: Abstract The distribution of intermediate filament proteins (vimentin, desmin, and cytokeratin) was studied by means immunofluorescence in the normal human rat glomerulus pathologic glomeruli. Antifibronectin antibodies were used as mesangial markers. In glomeruli, vimentin stained endothelial cells, podocytes, cells; desmin antibodies, surprisingly, podocytes. pattern staining same humans, but both cells glomeruli cytokeratin confined to segments Bowman's capsule. structures that positive giving a characteristic for each condition examined. These results are compatible with mesenchymal origin podocytes suggest have smooth muscle-like phenotypic features. Mesangial may slightly different differentiation paths humans rats, leading distinct expression proteins.
