摘要: The study investigated the effect of marijuana smoking on some haematological parameters smokers in comparison to non-smokers. Blood samples were collected from one hundred and eighty nine randomly selected male voluntary (test) non-smokers (control) resident Yenagoa, Nigeria. All subjects between 18-50 years. analysed include haemoglobin concentration (Hb), packed cell volume (PCV), total white count (WBC), red blood (RBC), differential count, platelet (PLT); using Sysmex SX-1000i automated haematology analyser; erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), Westergren method; prothrombin time (PT) activated partial thromboplastin (APTT) method adopted Dacie Lewis, 1994. There was no significant difference PCV, Hb, Total WBC, RBC, PT, APTT, PLT, monocyte basophil test controls (p>0.05).  But there a decrease neutrophil when compared with (p<0.05). Also, increase ESR, lymphocyte eosinophil This has shown that usage results marked differences which may lead inflammation, reduced immunity ability fight infections by users. Keywords : Evaluation, parameters, cannabinoids.
