摘要: Browsing and grazing pressure on vegetation in the Moremi Game Reserve Botswana was analyzed using remotely sensed imagery comprising CORONA photographs of 1967 Landsat TM ETM 1989 1994 2001, respectively. Comparison temporal variations spatial distributions different types changes abundance selected wildlife species demonstrate a persistent decrease capacity environment to support wild animals, due increasing poorly preferred browse scarcity favored varieties. Given long-term direction change showing continued deterioration habitat conditions limited prospects for reversal this trend, it is apparent that there immediate need realign management strategies ways can enhance sustainability supporting environment.
