摘要: Abstract The mechanical properties of type II superconducting materials are reviewed as well the effect stress on these materials. bcc alloys Nb-Ti and Nb-Zr exhibit good strength extensive ductility at room temperature. Mechanical tests 4.2 K revealed serrated stress-strain curves, non-linear elastic effects, reduced ductility. behaviour is probably due to twinning de-twinning or a reversible stress-induced martensitic transformation. brittle A-15 compound superconductors, such Nb 3 Sn V Ga, unusual structural instabilities cryogenic temperatures. p]Multifilamentary composites consisting filaments in normal metal matrix normally used for devices. alloy composites, tapes, niobium carbonitride chemically vapour deposited high carbon fibres presented.
